I stayed for a week, and for most of the time, I was the only guest since it was January in Tohoku! The room is spacious and very comfortable. The full kitchen and living room were great too. The house is beautifully and lovingly decorated, with charming personal touches like its own custom stamps! The location is ideal—you get the peaceful feel of a quiet countryside neighborhood, but it’s just a short walk to the train station, bus stops, supermarkets, and restaurants. I wanted to experience 田舎 (countryside) Japan, and staying here was definitely the right choice. Maki-san was incredibly generous, sharing her time, family and friends, and delicious food. In addition to sightseeing with Maki-san and her friend, I got to experience a side of local Japanese life that most tourists don’t get to see. It felt like stepping into a different world, where people slow down to connect with one another, even taking the time to welcome a passing traveler with toddler-level Japanese!

很乾淨、寬敞且像家的民宿，佈置非常溫馨，客廳、廚房、洗澡、廁所都在1樓，住宿房間在2樓，這應該是有一點點麻煩的部分，但以這個價位來說還是CP值很高。附有洗衣機，對長途旅遊的人來說非常方便。客廳有電視，有吉他擺設很有氣氛。廚房有屋主提供的麥片、豆乳、咖啡和茶可自由享用，盤子及各種餐具應有盡有。洗澡的浴室有浴缸，屋主也有提供免費的泡澡粉可自由使用。這次一個人住和式，房間很大又寬敞。

在鹿角花輪JR站附近，但班次很少，可能主要還是要透過巴士往返各地。

A really nice and clean place to stay! Very frienly and well English speaking owner. A place I like. Humble, trustful and authentic. We stayed one night during our bicycle tour from Narita to Sapporo.

Good location, few minutes from Kazuno Hanawa station. Very well equipped rooms. But the most important thing is the well informed, very welcoming and really helpful owner❤️
