I enrolled in a three-week intensive Japanese beginner program in September and had the best time of my life !

The school has a great method for teaching: lots of conversations, lots of listening and understanding. I had three lovely and amazing teachers and was able to learn so much in three weeks.
I stayed in two different families in Kamakura during my stay. An immersion in the Japanese daily life with delicious home-made dinners and an opportunity every night to practice my japanese with the family.
My classes were in the morning. In the afternoon I had all sorts of activities that I had signed-up for beforehand: tea ceremony, making wagashi, visiting temples, practicing Zazen.
Overall everything is well thought and organized. The staff is super nice and welcoming.
Lastly, about Kamakura: I can't think of a better city to spend a few weeks learning Japanese. Between the sea and the mountains, there are many hikes to do, temples to visit, but also nice restaurants and coffee places to enjoy.

I highly recommend this language school!
I enrolled in a two-week intensive Japanese course during my summer break to brush up on my Japanese, and I can say that it surpassed my expectations.
The teaching methods are effective, fun, and don't necessarily stick to the book. Since the classes are small, the teachers get to focus on the students' needs, and we get to directly practice what we learned (be prepared for a lot of speaking in Japanese).
Also, the staff was very friendly and helped me whenever there was a problem.
On top of that, Kamakura is a beautiful city where beaches, mountains and culture meet. Moreover, it is not far from Tokyo and Yokohama if you want to go for a quick day trip to the city.
The school also organizes many activities outside the classroom, where you get the opportunity to learn about the culture of the area and meet locals (nomikais, matsuris, temples, etc.).
