A kind old man came to us and recommended the observation tower on the 16th floor of this building and it turned out to be such a hidden gem It's free Probably open until 17:00 Thanks to that man and all the kind people in Japan

They have an observation room open for everyone and it’s free. This is kinda hidden gem, not so many people know about.

Use a lift to 15th floor and take the stairs to the observation room on 16th floor.

A local came up to us and recommended we take the elevator and some stairs up to the top of City Hall for a great view. And they were right! Right next to Kokura Castle and the Japanese Garden and worth a couple of minutes of your time. The rooftop area is enclosed and has a few historic photos and information regarding the area.

The people at the info desk were kind and helpful. The free observation deck was neat but I wish that the windows were not so dirty so that our photos would have turned out better. It has great views in all directions.

평일에만 방문 가능. 16층 전망대.
>> 엘베타고 15층 가서 빨간색 따라가면 이게 맞나 싶은 문이 있어요. 비상계단으로 올라가면 전망대 도착. 여러 방면에서 시내를 전망할 수 있어요. 평일이어서 그런건지 아는 사람이 없어서 그런건지 그 넓은 꼭대기에 서너명밖에 없어서 여자 혼자 앉아 있으려니 조금 겁이 날 정도. 앉을 수 있는 의자가 몇 개 있어서 2시 넘었는데도 올라와서 도시락 먹는 양복맨도 있었어요. 잠깐 쉬기 너무 좋아요. 커피 한 잔 들고 가서 풍경을 즐겨 보세요.

주말 및 휴일 제외하고 시청 엘레베이트 타고 15층에서 내린후 이정표 따라 1층 더 계단으로 올라가면 360 뷰로 기타큐슈를 감상할 수있습니다. 한번 쯤 꼭 와보시길 추천 드립니다. 이용 시간은 평일 8시 30분부터 17시까지입니다.
