住む前から取り付けられている部品や家具で年季が入ったものは、オーナーさんから任せられている以上、管理会社側でちゃんと対応するべきです。以前私たちは、お風呂場の水漏れが酷かった為、修理をお願いしましたが、その時にシャワーや蛇口が古かったため取り替えをして頂きました。しかし、数ヶ月が過ぎた頃、浴槽のストッパーがなくなっているのに気付き、管理会社に修理の方が誤って持ち帰ってる可能性があると電話をしたところ私たちが無くしたように、言われ自分たちで買うように言われました。わたしたちは、絶対にストッパーだけを取ってどこかに運んだり、捨てたりはしません。だれもそんなことしないと思います。こちら側も家賃を払って生活しています。適切に対応してもらいたいです。カスタマーサービスとして適切ではないと思います。

We have been with Seaside for almost a year and I haven’t complaints. Every issue we’ve had has been addressed quickly. We had an AC issue and they replaced immediately no questions asked. Phone calls are always answered and emails are responded to promptly. The move in process was straightforward and they answered all my questions. So far we are very happy with seaside housing and their staff.

Charged a ridiculous amount for a cleaning fee (65000) then proceed to nickel and dime you for repairs which would fall under typical cleaning. When confronted we were told that was our opinion and that it was typical practice to scam Americans in Japan and we should accept it.

This Housing Agency has been the worse since I got with them. Since it was too late with a signed lease, I couldn’t buy out. They moved me in knowing the AC was broke and waited for me to reported. Every time I put in a work order with them, they always say we will get owner or someone to come out there and it takes you calling and reporting multiple times for assistance. Their service is horrible and I would never recommend anyone using them especially when it’s your first time overseas and the last place you want issues is your home. My contract requires the owner to keep grass cut and there has been failure for that as well. Calling and emailing doesn’t work well because they do not help. If I could do over I would go with another agency or stay on base. My garage had stopped working with inside wall button as well. Issues after issues.

Military member here. From day one Seaside has been good to me. They worked excellent with housing on base to get a lease drafted quickly. Prompt response to email concerns. Prompt maintenance repairs. No issues.

Today I had my final inspection- no secret fees. No additional charges other than the mandatory cleaning fee which was noted in my lease along with a dryer filter. (Also noted to repair for inspection. I chose to let them deduct the fee.)

Read your Seaside handbook. Take care of the place like it’s your own. You will have no issues and be very happy with them! I will 100% use this agency if I return to island. Thank you Seaside.

Was great until we signed the lease and moved in. I had concerns about the overall cleanliness of the house, so I addressed it, I was told it would all be deep cleaned. When we moved in it was still dirty, not even sure if they mopped. Bathroom still had marks, in between tiles in the shower, and around the tub will still dirty. The house definitely wasn’t deep cleaned. Seems like someone just wiped stuff down and did not scrub or anything. Kitchen cabinets had an awful musty smell, and I found ROACH droppings. Sink strainer was dirty and still had food, I don’t even touch it with my hand. I wonder what they charged the last tenant for a cleaning fee which obviously did not go to good use. There was roach poop all over. Ignored my question about roach infestation. Told them to clean and it was still there. I stupidly assumed they’d have pest control take care of any infestation before having someone move in. If they were honest I would have just sprayed the house with chemicals I bought myself and killed them, before moving all my stuff in. I get that there’s bugs, it’s okinawa. So it’s very disappointing they couldn’t be honest and transparent. Now I find dead roaches randomly amongst my kitchen tools and had to buy containers for every single one of my kitchen tools and seasonings. And now I open every drawer with fear I may find a roach crawling around or dead. Brought up two maintenance issues two separate times and was told they would check and never received an update despite emailing them again. it was just embarrassing at that point to message them multiple times and not get a response. Had general questions and were unresponsive. Theres so much more but it would be too long to mention. All in all, Be aware and do not expect them to do a thorough clean of the house. They either have a different definition of “deep clean” or just didn’t care. If they tell you it will be cleaned before moving just be aware that it will probably be half-a**ed, so maybe specify what you want clean before signing the lease. It has been so stressful living in this environment, and I hope this review can help someone who is thinking about using this agency. I would not recommend them to anyone I know.

I woke up at 3am in a fit and hopped on Google simply to post this review because I dreamt about how much I hate this company. I moved out a month ago. They'll take your entire security deposit for "repainting" of your entire apartment plus a mandatory cleaning fee. Go with someone else. These guys are crooks.

RENTERS BEWARE! Do NOT rent with this company. They have no concept of customer service. They only want your money. We have been without air conditioning in our house for nearly 2 weeks (BTW it's still 90 degrees and 100% humidity). We have complained repeatedly and there is still no fix in sight. The house in unlivable, and our dogs are suffering the most. FIND SOMEONE ELSE!
